If you are hoping to use Twitter as a medium to promote your business, band or blog, you are faced with the tedious and daunting task of finding and following other Twitter users who may share your interests. It can take hours upon hours to search by key words for people with common interests and follow them. Then you have the problem of determining and tracking whether or not the "follow your back."
Then there is the tedium of handling 'follower' requests. If new people follow your tweets, and you fail to follow them back, many or most will "un-follow" you within days or weeks. If you ask Twitter for email notifications, so that you can follow back your new followers, your email inbox quickly fills up with emails about new Twitter followers. If you don't get email notification, new follower pile up, don't get followed back, and (usually) drop off.
What's a tweeter to do?
Fortunately, all of these problems (and others) can be easily solved by using a Twitter automation program.
After quite a bit of searching and study, I have found what I believe to be the most powerful and best Twitter automation program available on the market. It is called TweetAttacks. It is not as well known as the widely-used Tweet Adder, but it has several important advantages. I won't go into a head-to-head comparison of the two. Just check the two links in the previous sentences for details.
The primary advantage of TweetAttacks is its ability to help you actually market a product or service on Twitter. Many Twitter programs allow you to search for and add new followers in bulk, automatically respond to new followers and new mentions, automatically un-follow, etc. But TweetAttacks will also follow the tweet stream for you, watch for key words or phrases that relate to your business, and automatically send a direct message to people who tweet something about that subject. If you sell shovels, you can have TweetAttacks watch for tweets that mention the word "shovel" and automatically sent that person a direct message about your shovels. This is what makes TweetAttacks a true marketing tool, and sets it apart from all the other Twitter automation software I have seen.
So, if you have any desire to turn Twitter into a marketing tool, instead of a huge time-wasting toy, check out TweetAttacks. You'll thank me for it.
